I have successfully used following configuration before:
seed.domain.org NS ns1.domain.org
ns1.domain.org A Server IP
Now I found that something went wrong with resolver and seems the issue with desec, or I missed some updates.
I’ve logged, removed old record, tried to create same new one, but got this message:
Cannot modify NS records for this domain.
Does NS feature still work or it is disabled (like new domains registration before)?
Anyway I can’t add NS record back, after deleting it in control panel. My server dependent of this domain as hardcoded in many client apps, so change the DNS provider is not trivial solution.
I’m asking because this feature was active for existing domain before. And I still can select NS from options in control panel, even can’t save the changes.
So this feature definitively unsupported now?
I want it for bitcoin-seeder it requires NS record to work.
This feature is still available for domains that you bring to Desec, just not for the dynamic DNS subdomains that Desec provides. It was available for those too, but that attracted too much abuse. As a matter of policy, NS-records can no longer be changed for subdomains of dedyn.io.
