no idea if it is still relevant, I have been with desec.io for a while (now 2 own domains). I once created a dyndns updater for iOS devices (with scriptable in javascript). it works well for me and supports IPv4 & IPv6

Maybe make the default Readme english and a secondary Deutsch (Grüße aus Niedersachsen) for better reach.
