Only update AAAA record from FRITZ!Box DynDNS, and delete the A record

I want to achieve that only the AAAA record gets updated by my FRITZ!Box (fritzhelp.avm.de). There should be no A record set.

In all strings I used on the FRITZ!Box DynDNS, both the A and the AAAA records get constantly updated.

I already tried different update url based on the deSEC documentation (Configuring your dynDNS Client — deSEC DNS API documentation) however it looks like both records are always updated.

Here’s an overview of what I’ve tried so far:

• https://update.dedyn.io/?myipv4=&myipv6=<ip6addr>
• https://update.dedyn.io/?myipv6=<ip6addr>

Even when I tried:

• https://update6.dedyn.io/
• https://update6.dedyn.io/?myipv6=<ip6addr>

the A record gets an update and is not deleted as written in the documentation.

What am I doing wrong? Any ideas?
