With my Proximus B-Box3 router/modem I still have an error with following dynDDNS settings:
hostname : gielkens.dedyn.io
server : https://update.dedyn.io/ (or update.dedyn.io )
port : 80
Request : https://update.dedyn.io/?username=[DOMAIN]&myip=[IP]
Authentication : Basic
Update interval 2097120 // Retry interval 600 // Max retries 3
Do you have an idea what’s wrong with this config ?
“port 80” seems suspicious. For security reasons, we don’t support updates via http/port 80. Please try https/port 443.
I changed port 80 to port 443 , but I still have the same error state. Do you have another suggestion ?
Does your router provide more information, like a log file? From your settings, everything looks legit. Make sure you are using the authentication token as password for your updates.
