Dnssec on .es domain

Hello, quite new to domain management. I own a .es domain from GoDaddy, and manage to delegate to desec.

But I did not understand what I need to do in order to activate DNSSEC.

Consider that:

I can’t find anything similar in desec, and instructions given there seem to suggest there is something to be done by registrars’ side.

Anyway, DNSSEC for .es domain seems operational (https://www.internetsociety.org/wp-content/uploads/2021/06/2021-06-14-2021-06-14.png amongs other sources).

Thanks for help!

I had the same, rather annoying discussion. For me it was a .solutions domain. They seamed to not have a GUI workflow for that.

And they always said “you have the DNS elsewhere not set to us. We can’t do anything about that”.
So I had to really insist that THEY need to give me a DS record, no matter what DNS server my domain is pointing at.

Good luck. They suck. I moved registrar away from godaddy for my newer domains because of it.

Thanks, I imagined it was GoDaddy’s fault.

I also would like to move to another registrar, eu based if possible. I just wonder .. how can I be sure they manage dnssec for .es domain?

pretty much everybody does. At least any half respectable registrar.

I personally like hostpoint.ch, but they are Swiss based. They offer good support, but not in Spanish  Pretty sure you find someone like that in Spain. If in quesiton, call them up and ask. That would also double as a good first test to see if they know what they are doing.
