Dear desec team,
i found this thread regarding the planned support for SVCB records.
Hi Chris,
To clarify, the notion of “users” is not the best one here, as all records of a domain are owned by the same user (the deSEC account owner). A user can create API tokens, and those may have different permissions. So, let’s focus on how these permissions could be implemented.
Your proposal requires that we keep track of which token was used when creating a certain DNS record. Apart from the necessary book-keeping logistics, this comes with a bunch of complications that may not be imme…
Do you have some updates regarding this? I saw the support for HTTPS Records, but the SVCB records are the generalized one’s.
Additionally do you plan to support SSHFP records?
Best regards

deSEC supports (almost) all RRset types supported by PowerDNS . In particular, SVCB and SSHFP have been supported for quite a while now.
Hm, could you help me then? I think I’m blind - i cant find these record types in the desec webui.
peter:
You can just type it in.
hahahaha ok, i just did not come up with this possibility.
Thanks peter
