Title: Cannot modify NS records for my domain via web UI

Hello everyone,

I’m trying to change the NS records for my domain fugo.dedyn.io from the default deSEC servers to external nameservers provided by another DNS hosting service. However, I’m stuck because the web interface does not allow me to edit or delete the existing NS record set.

When I click the edit icon, it says: “Cannot modify NS records for this domain.”

When I try to delete the record set, I get a popup warning that deletion is not allowed, with the same message.

I have already checked the domain settings page, but I couldn’t find any “Secondary DNS” or “Slave” switch that might be locking the NS records. My domain seems to be in normal (Primary) mode.

My questions:

Is this a deliberate restriction on the web UI for security reasons?

Do I have to use the API to replace the NS records? If so, could someone point me to the exact API endpoint and the required payload format?

Is there any hidden setting (like a lock flag) that I need to disable first?

I would prefer to avoid using the command line if possible, but I’m open to any solution.

Thanks in advance for your help!

You can’t change the NS records of dedyn.io subdomains. UI or API doesn’t matter. It’s a matter of policy.
